This photo shows Jacqui in her heyday. Relaxed, amiable and confident, as one of the prominent "Blair Babes" (while I would use "prominent" in its widest sense here, I would myself not use "babe" in any sense at all, as Jacqui is clearly neither an infant NOR attractive in any kind of way), Jacqui showed early promise.
Here she is seen brandishing the Civil Partnerships Bill, in an attempt to make herself look like some kind of liberal. When discussing other issues later in her career, such as identity cards, botched police operations against foreign students and plumbers, and hectoring demands to give the police whatever powers they might want to detain without trial , Jacqui would adopt the trademark stern, sour, unyielding, pinched expression of the natural authoritarian previously modelled by her predecessor John Reed. And Joseph Stalin.
Nice double (triple?) chin there Jacqui! And if you don't think me too forward....let me say you should wear your hair like that more often....
