Early 2009. The pressure is starting to tell. Bags under the eyes, the saggy face, "chins" developing uncontrollably (all over her face) and the "Brown era" thousand yard stare. Only the firmly pinched mouth betrays the "never say die" determination (often mis-read as stupid, mule-like, pig-headed, "not knowing when your arse has been well and truly kicked" stubborn-ness), for which she is so respected.It was also about this time that Jacqui's hairstylist was finally sectioned under the Mental Health Act, and for some months Jacqui had to make do wearing a dead fox on her head.
